When the seller describes it as a "Specialized Langster racing bike" with "shimano gator skin wheels", "shimano racing pedals" and 'racing handlebars (cane creek)", does it not have faintest whiff of 'nicked' about it?

I'd say it stinks to high heaven.
esp as the wheelset is bunged on from a different bike? a geared one by the looks of it.

Those first two ads (for the white thing and the peugeot) are pretty amazing really - five years ago you wouldn't have got £40 for the pair, but now even the first one is £80!

WHAT?! I paid £40 for my last peugeot premiere and spent about £20 converting in to SS. Why so pricey? Knew I shouldn't have given it away!

I doubt anyone's going to pay £160 for a Peugeot. My mate picked up a mint small Peugeot Equipe for £5 recently...

spotted an Interesting frame on bumtree today, not sure what it is (challenge) looks to be a hub gear. (?)
