Who Wants to Take Part in a Fixed Wheel Piece for the BBC?

Had an email from a Mike Ramsden from the BBC today after he had been on the www.londonfixiebike.co.uk website - sorry, had to throw that in :)

they may have the best of intentions but i really dont think this is a good idea given the shit that came out of the observer, plus they do interviews everyday and know how to spin what you say, as in "i like them because they are simple" then they say "simple because they have no brakes?" or something like that.

Maybe get the guy to come to an event and speak to some people? This segment will happen one way or another so better to have a positive input than a negative one.

yer i know that this is another piece of media hype, but well done for max for telling us, i feel that it may be better to have someone who is sad cool enough to sit on a forum do the interview rather than a cheap ass city slicker who can't be bothered to pay for servicing
