A narrower distance between your feet is reccomended for outer knee problems. I always thought in general it was better to have a narrow BB rather than these extensions.

They look ideal for me and my gimp left leg. I always have pain in the knee and hip area because my foot is trying toforce itself to the left.

Hmmm, they look quite interesting. I suffer from pretty bad 'toe-out', particularly on my left leg.
But, I don't think that I could actually mount my cleats rotated any further round, due to the design of the mounting plates. How would that work?
@vb - I've never been to see a physio, is it an easy process?

Yeah, I was of the same opinion. I thought smaller Q = better for you.
It's more aero, that's why Obree used washing machine bearings on his Hour Record bike - to bring the cranks as close together as possible.
Maybe okay if you're some kind of freak and doctors suggest 'em?
