I don't know Sam's credentials, but you two are well capable of winning.

Only done it twice, both times at Roller IX. 22.17 in qualifying, knocked out in second round where I was sure I was faster than my qual time. But both times my legs locked for a split second after around 450 metres, I'd need to work on that, maybe by having the saddle slightly lower than Winston and Caspar set it. Thinking about it I do ride naturally with a fairly low saddle.

Couldn't we just enter two teams??!!??

I s'pose you'll have to ask Therese about having 2 (or even 3) teams from the forum. A lot will depend on logistics - amount of time available on the night etc.

Sam's a faster qualifier than me, but I knocked nearly 2 seconds off later. And I was ill* :p

What's the deal with twosheds? He should get automatic entry as previous Raphapaluza champion; and cos he pisses on everyone else. Is he intending to ride? Has he retired? Did he hit 300rpm one day and disappear down a wormhole to the future somewhere...?

But if the LFGSS were to have 2, then the messengers would have to have two too. And then there wouldn't be any room for other teams.

I reckon Simon knows that Seb and Charlie both have the drop on him, and wants to retire undefeated.

why don't they have 6 people and decide on the night which three get to race, by arm wrestling, or doing bird impressions or something...

I heard that Simon "twosheds" couldn't be asked to sell the tickets to the event on Raphas behalf.

I'm surprised no-one else is questioning this ploy as I felt like i'd been raped everytime I went to the bar and since when has a company putting on an event for marketing purposes expected to profit from it directly?

dtherave, I think you meant couldnt be arsed, but thats about the size of it. Personally id be happy to pay about a fiver to race, but im not interested in doing someone elses promo work.
