yeah its aluminium (Alan frame from the late 70s i think) so not sure squeezing it in would be a great idea. I know some track hubs can be used with washers to provide a snug fit without squeezing (maybe they all can, dunno?). Sounds like i should be OK with those Suzues on ebay according to RPM so reckon i will go with them. As for the chainline i have no idea, its an old Campag Record b/b and crankset, i have no idea how i could reliably measure it with a tape so think i will just bite the bullet and deal with the chainline problem when i come to it.
Oh yeah and had my first blast on a fixie round Richmond park today on my mate's bike. Scared the shit out of me when i started going downhill and spinning like mad but a good laugh on the mini uphills that Richmond park gives you.
