  • Nice one. Crank extractors are a useful tool to buy, not too expensive. Just a little thingy that screws into the bit where there's a bolt on the bottm bracket end of the cranks (obviously take the bolt out first), then once it's gone in as far as it will go, tighten another screw thing which pushes against the BB spindle, 'pulling' the cranks off. If it works well it's very satisfying. :)
