Someone dropped a glove last night - I have it, so get in touch.
Does anyone have a spare spoke card? I had to rush off straight after the finish.

My head hurts...

• #63
How are your eyes?
-
• #64
Yeah!
-
• #65
Eyes fine. I very much doubt it was glass, more stinging from beer in them. Of course I was hamming it up ;-)
-
• #66
I thought you may be but then I was drunk.
You could have been bleeding on the floor and I'd probably still have thought you where whining. -
• #67
I'm impressed you remembered! I was just after sympathy/guilt tripping my mate.
So who won? Pat was saying he was cheated out of winning, but he was pissed. Think he was winding me up though ;-P

Wicked time last night, thanks to Max and everyone else who helped out.
See you at the next one :-)

NICE ONE MAX! Well done, nice organization, original checkpoints, good mileage and nice venue.
Patrick thought he was cheated out of 3rd. Which was officially Conrad...
Jos beat me but only after I (mistakenly) went to the finish before the last checkpoint! Saw Jos pass by so caught up with him. He left the checkpoint first and I finished a few seconds behind him...Odd results for a 'non-messenger' alleycat?
1st - working messenger
2nd - exenger
3rd - exenger -

And for the other (equally important results):
1st Female - Chandra
DFL - Stelle & mashton (puncture at the first checkpoint, followed by some furious racing to try and catch up before realising that DFL was possible so we stopped for a beer break at the third checkpoint.)If anyone's interested, the checkpoints were:
Chochrane Theatre -> LCC at Elephant & Castle Roundabout -> Camberwell Arts College -> Some art college next to Tate Britain -> London College of Fashion on Mare St -> Plastic People.
Total distance was 15 miles, if you took the same route as me :-)

thanks for everyone who competed and everyone who came to the club night.. it was really good fun, sorry about the checkpoints, my marshalls were alleycat virgins. but yeah maybe there will be another one (not affiliated to any university) we raised a nice sum.. and thanks to our generous winner the first prize was auctioned off and the proceeds donated to the two messengers that got injured this week in london.
the results:
1st. Jos da boss
2nd. American mike
3rd. Conrad
4th. Pat
5th. Sebastieni know seb and pat thought they were robbed but i have two other impartial sources who confirmed that they were LOSERS.
1st female. Chandra
DFL. Matt and Stelle
thanks everyone

I had fun at the after party.. Felt guilty at not taking part now. Clerks 2 was good though :)
Object, I now have a perfect backwards imprint of an equation on my pillow, and a perfect forwards imprint of it on my face. Er, thanks. Don't worry, it washes off easy enough. :)
Also, I have Estelle's DFL medal. You were pretty insistent on me having it, mainly because it matched my jacket. I'll bring it to polo for ya. :)
-

asm, honestly - it was a PRESENT! You have to keep it or I will be offended. And it does match your jacket. Medallions for every outfit, say I!
Good good fun, was sorry to crash out of any chance of keeping up after I got that spike....but good excuse to head for DFL and drink some beer on the way. Big love to mashton for sticking with me.

That's good to hear that, erm what did I write on you? And Why?
brighton peeps, go have a chat with ginger ben at freedom cycles, he's in the process of trying to get some BMW gangsta's in (i believe he's got a blue one for himself) ;)
