I bought a pair of these cheap forks for my fixed hack bike (£19 inc p+p):

I'm going to pick them up from the courier depot tomorrow, so will let you know what they're like. If I recall correctly the fork-stem is approx 11" of which 4" (or was it 7"?) is threaded. So should just need cutting down to size.
I wouldnt ride the bent forks or attempt straightening them out, as it causes fatigue points. If you like riding free handed, bent forks tend to pull, or you have to weight one-side to balance the bike.
