hey guys. first off, im new to the whole fixed gear thing, but a good friend of mine is a courier, and ive been messing around on his bike for a while. Im now in Japan (Kobe), and looking for a bike to commute/ get around/ have fun/ something with limited maintance, and a fixie seems idea.
so basicly, i was wondering i anyone knew anywhere in Japan, especially Kobe, where i could buy parts to make a bike (or a cool shop that can do it for me, as i dont have any tools here).
im 6ft3 however, which im assuming is going to be rather a dissadvantage.
worth getting a frame in the US, and then the parts here? im guessing Shimano/Suigno parts will be cheaper here? the factories are only a bus ride away!
anyway, if anyone is feeling kind, and has the spare time to reply, then thanks alot.
