MC5, Stooges, New York Dolls..

or Sex Pistols, The Clash, Buzzcocks..

obviously we all played never mind the bollocks at volume to piss people off, but I think I prefer the yank stuff.

But UK post-punk was way better; Joy Division, XTC, The Cure, PiL etc etc
or Black Flag.....um....ooo....The Cars?
