it's dirt harry. No 'y' attached. He's not dirty, mucky, or filthy.
I have flat bars with a shim rather than tubing that widens in the centre that mine fits or your most basic LBS risers are slim enough too. plenty of bars out there.
goldfingers aren't dirt harry's: that's why the fit is different, as is the look.

How marvellous to wind someone up so successfully from afar! What power I possess!
To think, all it took was asking a question about bar diamater. Quite incedible!
Also, I am quite plainly NOT ignoring bar diameter, otherwise I wouldn't be posting this question, would I?And of course, the Goldfinger is not the Dirty Harry, that's why they have different names, but they are made by the same company

keep your knickers on!
I was simply pointing out that it's not going to be impossible: I have 2 sets of bars that mine fits on. Risers were from Edwardes in Camberwell, to specifically answer your question, the flats I don't remember. -

Julietty, you can fit a harry but you need to set about the inside of the clamp with a 10 or 13 mm parallel round file. Using your skill and judgement, start whittling away at the two obvious contact points which are preventing clamp closure, then generally enlarge the radius slightly. You would probably have to take a radgie on it to render it useless, and after all, they only cost a fiver. I might have had to fit a 10mm longer clamp bolt to span the gap, but it's on and working. Go on, go on, go on, go on- have a go! Bobfix
I just bought a Diatech Dirty Harry brake lever and it doesn't fit on my bars.
I was going to change the bars anyway to chopped off and flipped drops - sort of short bullhorn type thing....
The problem is, all road handlebars seem to have a diameter of 23.8 and the Dirty Harry's fit a diameter of 22.2
Does anyone know where I can get some bars with a smaller diamater?
