Of course, it's all very social down at polo.
Like Rob said in the other thread, rookies are more than welcome.There's stacks of mallets now, and the easiest way to learn is to get stuck in!

but as rookies don't feel like you have to weight till this date.
We are a friendly lot, anyone is welcome to come and play. We had some new players this week who just came and had a go best way to learn.
I will sugest read the begining of the polo thread, there are the rule's ETC on there. But we will fill you in as you play. That is y it is better to play with some people who have played b4 -

RJM, yeah, i don't mean to put anyone off from going next weekend at all, I was thinking more along the lines of getting more new people to turn up. Anyway, I'll see you all down there in a couple of weeks... Looking forward to falling off a lot etc

Mister K put forward the idea to plan a rookie day at polo in Brick Lane. Maybe we can plan ahead and get enough people down to have a few rookie games to get our skills up to scratch.
I'm proposing the 2nd of March (for selfish reasons, as I can't make it next weekend)
Would any of you long time polo players be cool to lend some mallets for us to play with? And even give some hints and tips to us first timers?
