Right I'll start by apologising for the OT content but I've tried everything. I've searched every computer forum but cant find a solution and i dont want to sign up to another forum just to post a question, so:
I cant get mozilla fiefox 2.0.0.12 to even pop up on my laptop. No error message at all and no windows open.
I think it came about from downloading winamp to convert some flac files to mp3. Aftyer i downloaded it I couldn't open firefox so i uninstalled the winamp.
I then did a system restore and no joy.
Then I uninstalled firefox restarted and downloaded the same version of firefox and no change at all.
I cant even open up safe mode.
Also ran avg anti-virus and got nothing and am currently doin avg anti-spyware scan and have 44 tracking cookies which is fairly normal.
Anyone know anything? I've seen some pretty in depth discussions about computers on this site so hopefully.
Or even if anyone knows a good forum to check out.
