I will defer to the judgment of others but those angles look chainstays look short! or is it just the angles?

i converted a mercian for a friend exactly like that, used a half link chain. doable, but not the best (he was emotionally attached to frame, so i couldn't convince him otherwise). just visit jos and roberto, and get a nice track frame. sell the bob jackson and stop mucking about with these.

Its not the Bob, its a sweet Bianchi, almost tempted even if it had to be geared.

There is enough there (just) but as dogsballs said a half-link will almost certainly be needed. Pain if you swap ratios too (ie fiddle with chain length/half-link).

ENO Eccentric would be about the only really safe way to do that - but I would probably just run it as a geared bike.
Lusting after (yet) another frame, are these short horizontal drops long enough for setting up as fixed?
