From what I've seen and heard, what is played at Brick Lane is different to grass court bike polo......different rules and it looks different too....I've yet to play hard court but grass court seems a lot more "rough and tumble" to me....at least from what I can remember of the bruises I received whilst playing at HH.
Traditional bike polo.....on grass, still exists with it's own traditional rules and world champs with teams from India, Pakisan, France, USA, Uk etc all taking part....this seems to be a completely different "scene" to what is happening at Brick Lane...NYC etc.
