They pioneered the 'modern urban' version of it. Specially in Switzerland and the USA. Just like rollerracing was wildly popular in the 60's, 70's and early 80's and then died of untill it came back in (again Switzerland under the name Goldsprints) and London with the fab Rollapaluza.
