i want to own a bike shop

someone's got the ride idea anyway, so many bikes use that route into hackney/london they have to be pretty stupid to fuck it up

They would have to open early and stay open late. Most people only cycle through that route.
When I lived just off London Fields I rarely ever used anything on Broadway Mkt. other than the Dove and the actual market on Sat... -

Still, they'd make a killing on Saturday!

Funny how things change. I cycled that route for years and remember the original bike shop which was there up until a few years ago. They didn't get enough trade. The wheel is still attached to the wall where it was. Gallery now at the Fields end. Now there'll be lots of business. Do the guys still give out free teas and brekkie to cyclists in London Fields? I was always on my BMX and felt I didn't fit with all the friendly commuters that were stopping. I'd be all over it now though!

Maybe, maybe not, there's already a guy whose name I forget who has a bike stall there, he does repairs (Base is elsewhere) and sources stuff, it might of course be him.

More the merrier though, we have London Fields who are fab, and bicycle magic who are OK further south. Anyone used and/or know anything about the tiny bike shop on Hackney Rd just along from Kirby Glass?

Having just moved to Clapton/Hackney, can someone give me the details of these shops please? Also in anyone know the area any good riding spots?
I live RIGHT next to the homerton humps apparently, might check it out tomorrow on my bike.

so is it the same chain as this new bike shop that's opening on upper street? so far it's just a a display of dutch bikes and i've forgotten the name. it's right on islington green, where the record shop used to be.

Yeah me and Muna ended up going in the other day. she is going to be selling bike's priced from £1000 - 1500 all hand made by a dutch guy. Gonna be a couple single speed bike's but i think mainly road bikes. She said that her shop was going to be the only place that sold his stuff. Its a small shop so going to have a few tables at the end so you can have coffee. Opening day is on the 6th of march if it all goes to plan and she said every one is welcome.

Do you know exactly which dutch guy? Brand or something.....
