but reducing the frame stiffness may be what they were going for, on a tourer perhaps? same with the rest of the bike, all a plus on a touring bike. i agree about the type of preson thats likely to ride/be able to afford it, but hell, it still looks good, and would probably be really nice on 150+ miles a day.
