Nice to meet everyone last night. I don't usually venture that far west, but I can see the allure of drinking beers and talking about bikes all night. Good fun.
I had a fantastic ride home with sano as well, clear empty roads, moving along at a cracking pace down Kensington High st, the Mall and along the Embankment (which is beautiful at night). It was all coming up roses, right up until I wiped out going round a corner near Whitechapel. I can't remember going down, but my injuries suggest I used the left side of my face to cushion my fall. Cheers to sano for cleaning me up and making sure I got home ok. I think I was still a little woozy.
When I got home my gf went mental and wouldn't let me eat or go to sleep until I had been checked over by a doctor (just in case I died in my sleep, bless her cheery heart). So I spent two hours in A+E, always a barrell of laughs, before getting home around 1am. Woke up this morning with my face swollen like a balloon and unable to chew. Liquid diet for a few days.
Must remember to watch those corners. Probably see you all next week.
