as mentioned previously, if you come down any sunday to brick lane, you can play all you want. no need to organise anything special.

yeah, gathered that fro the other thread.
any suggestions as to gear ratio tho?
and by the looks of it risers are better for it? i've got some, although they look ridiculous on my bike. bit of a frankenbike at the moment.

i run 42:20, basically the lowest you can get away with pending the length of your ride etc . risers are helpful and i tend to ride with my seat down an inch below normal.

I'm really up for this.
I have an old Raleigh that is too big for the mrs and happens to have a stepped thread on the other side of the freewheel.
I'll see if I can get a cog.
It's bloody heavy though.Anyone got a 22t cog and lockring to sell/trade?
Ok! I was talking to Mercianary about a Rookie polo game for all us newbs and thought maybe it should have it's own thread so we can get some more people interested.
We were thinking the weekend after next (2nd March)?
Also, maybe all you more experienced players could post some advice from personal experience about what kind of bike setup is best (unless there's already a thread about such a thing?). I think I'll need to lower my gear, I'm at 78.4 gear inches. I'm sure i heard someone suggest around 50?
Lets get injured!!
