So the solid axle pitlock costs more than a mini D-Lock but weighs less to carry around. You don't need to spend time locking and unlocking the front. Personally I think it is a good way to go unless any one has any awful stories about the solid axle pitlocks?
Getting the front wheel, the seat post and an a-head lock does mean sending quite a lot of money to Germany though.
