because as recently as 30 years ago, cars were an efficient form of transport. Fast, cheap and even enjoyable.
unfortunately, circumstances change more quickly than society (as a whole) can understand. Hence it takes 5 hours to travel 1 mile in London by car, yet thousands are happy to do it twice a day, despite it clearly being quite ridiculous.
I shake my head in disbelief when I see driving school cars going around with yet more fodder for the beast, eagerly willing to get into the gridlock as quickly as they can.
Basically, attitudes in this country about a great many things, (transport, being an intrinsic part of most people's lives is an obvious example) are ignorant at best, downright fucking selfish at worst.
I'm fucking done with humans, cunts the lot of em.
