Jon, I've only just read this thread - what a roller coaster. So chuffed you got the bike back and it seems that the worst bruises are on your drinking ego.

When I was halfway through the thread I was thinking "If some guy who's bought that bike at Brick Lane brings it to Polo there'll be a death on our hands." Gald it all came good in the end.
