pj
asm
aidan i cant express in words how good it was to see you alex...(probably not the best think to say after the previous sentence) we should meet for a drink :)
Er, ok!
Do you want to come round for pancakes later on today (today being pancake day as its 2 am)? Aidan and a few others are going to come round. Reckon i'll take them to the hermit's cave then make them all strawberry cheesecake pancakes. Yes you heard me correctly.
hermit's cave - in camberwell?
Yes indeed PJ, I quite like that pub. They're good at pouring pints.

I came down today, but was feeling a tad hungover and lacking social skills, ending up hanging out on the periphery of the action not talking to anyone.
I cycled down with Seb after flogging him some handle bars, and he was saying about a potential plan to do some rookie games for us people who haven't played before. I'd be well up for that, it looks like a laugh, but I would be a little scared of playing with the more experienced players.
Maybe we can do a rookie game next sunday, so long as we have enough of us who haven't played before???
-
• #1305
you guy's should play rookie games just let the people who have played longer know that you want to do it and we will all be cool with that. + if there is not enough of you to play a full rookie game some of the playears that have played for a long time can make up numbers and take it easy on you guys.
we did have rookie game's in the summer but less rookies have come over the winter.
we need more new players as everyone brings some thing new to games and the game's are getting a little predictable. -

what's good too is to have a rookie in a team of experienced players. (good for the rookie that is). That's how I started in NYC, just doing defense and a few passes.

I wouldn't mind giving it a whack, but my hand-eye co-ordination in ball games is well recorded as being amongst the most laughable in the world… That said, if enough lamers fancy starting from scratch and falling over with me without laughing too hard, then I'd be definitely up for that. The other downside is that Sunday is often my lady's only day off, so I can't really guarantee making it down next week, but I'll try my damnedest. Woohoo!

ThisIsRob (RJM) the game's are getting a little predictable.
Yeah..RJM smashes the ball into someone's wheel, Estelle falls off, Yorgo punctures, Dale gets angry. ;-)

Yeah. I'm definitely up for a rookie game. Haven't played before, so it'll be comforting not to be the only one making a tit out of myself!
Was gonna come check it out today, but I slept in, haha.So maybe we should make a rookie thread sort out a day to do it. I'm sure there'll be more people interested.

I've just realised that I'm not around next weekend, but maybe we can plan ahead for a few rookie games the weekend after (2nd March)?
