Illy,
Yeah, Shimano pedals, they work and they're cheap. One can take brand-obsession too far - I speak as someone who once had a Campag groupset on a Cannondale mountain bike... It was crap. -

I were right about that saddle though (is the line annoyingly cut off the end) -

I've now fiited the Rush with straight bars and the Mavic wheels I bought off MrSmith, so I thought I'd post another picture;
I've also changed the pony skin Fizik Pave for a Selle Royal I had knocking about, the Fizik looked great but was incredibly uncomfortable when riding in trousers without a chamois insert, so it had to go. You might also notice the new binder;
I've been having trouble with the seat-post slipping and had two (el cheapo) cro-mo seat binder bolts sheer in a week, my brother gave me the combination binder for my birthday a couple of years and it was the only thing I had to hand that'd do the job, it'll stay till I can lay my hands on a decent binder.
The bike remains lots of fun. I'll post another picture once the steel fork is fitted and I've got some risers on.
Shimano pedals, surely?
