Thanks for flagging it up, just waiting to hear back from seller he may have already got rid of it so we shall see.

also if i get it does someone want the aero bars ?

  • I've got a 58cm Fuji track (with 105 front brake). Anyone want to offer me £150 for it?
Would mean I could afford to finish my Jackson restoration.

i would be very tempted mate. is it in good nick??

  • No pics at moment. I'm in east london or could meet up somewher if you want to take a look.
Elvis got in first, followed by BoBoB and mick

It's 2-3 years old, good overall condition, wheels could probably do with trueing.

  • Cool.... if Elvis says no then i'll see if my bro's interested, got more details, colour etc? Ta :)

  • Elvis did you get envious of my not so shiny fuji?

  • there's a red fuji track looking like its slowly getting stripped on the rails outside waterloo station on waterloo road. rescue?

  • Not wishing to do myself out of a sale here, but how does anyone get envious of a Fuji?

  • I like them! and i have a shiny bike. Can't believe i haven't noticed that fuji track before... such a shame.

  • I'm not saying I don't like them. At the moment I don't have the choice of Fuji and shiny.
The shiny is always going to win

  • Kelvin Elvis did you get envious of my not so shiny fuji?

    a little bit ;)

how's the conversion going? (sorry off topic)

  • Elvis, give me a call about when you want to look at it. There's a little queue forming behind you

  • sorry to derail fruitbat...

Been riding the Carlton conversion project to work geared this week. It's quite nice and a good fit but really slack, desperately needs painting and it weighs a metric tonne.

I'm not entirely convinced it's worth converting though gonna drop 2 or 3 hundred on it and it's but nothing much more special than a Ebay special from Hacked.

And while I was deciding, I've been given a wee pay rise at work and are re-locating so there will prob be no commute. So figured it's time to use the ride to work on a bouncy full sus b&b which gives me a few options.

Sell the fuji, cindercone and see what I can get for the carlton and buy myself a shiny colnago from italian ebay and bung on open pros on some high flange hubs and fairly classic bits...

or sell the cindercone & carlton respray the the fuji in eggplant with cream panels and upgrade all the bargain basement stuff on it.

  • options! carlton doesn't sound economical.

i'd get the bouncey bike on the ride to work. then respray the fuji and get some nice bits for it. the frame is good enough to warrant that. others may disagree! if you're gonna go swanky get a british frame, BJ, Mercian, whatever.

  • That seems to be the way I'm headed with the fuji.

I think the BJ/Mercian would be a safer bet than something italian but they are so pretty

  • another Fuli for sale, not mine, no idea if it's any good but they mention Hubjub...

  • if that's tidy another good buy and already got a few of the must replace bits replaced
