Was chatting to a guy whilst queuing for an ATM in Kings Cross a few weeks back.He had a light blue condor pista, nice bike! Friendly guy too. Think he had a beard, told me he was a self confessed bike geek.

andyf Just now, a guy on a black cannondale with orange deep v's riding down Acre Lane in Brixton eschewing the use of his bullhorn handlebars. plus points for style.
Woo Hoo, I started a meme :-)
Guy on a lovely red and white Colnago pursuit frame, turning into High St Ken from the bottom end of Kensington Church Street at about 8:15 this morning. I was seriously tempted to fly straight past work and (hopefully) catch up to check out the frame some more. It looked beautiful.
Anyone on here?

Saw Clefty getting some verbal off a cabbie at the Elephant and Castle this morning. Said hello, but then we were onto the roundabout proper, and I started having to think about what line to take through the corners. Sorry I couldn't chat longer.

well met sir! thats the trouble with that roundabout its not built for chatting. That flat capped git of a cabbie made me laugh, was sat behind me beeping away as I rolled the 10 yards between me and the bus in front stopped at a red, I turned round pointed at the red and laughed at him. Once the light had changed he slowed down as he passed me, wound down his window and shouted 'You're going too slow!'
I waved at him as I then overtook him on the Elephant roundabout whilst he was stuck in traffic and threw his words back at him..
Anyway nice to get a hello, rather than just secret ninja spots I seem to get on my route.

saw loads of fixed wheel bikes today, normally there's none on my daily stretch... saw a guy on a blue (fort?) bike w blue deep rims (don't think they were deep v's but not sure) on stamford hill. A girl at the big junction halfway down amhurst road, think she had orange hair or something, don't remembr exactly it was semi-early...
Then again a guy on a old battered looking red bike at the bottom of cambridge heath rd turning onto whitechapel road heading towards whitechapel... anyone?| -

Spotted: a slow but steady increase of fixed wheel bikes at DDB Advertisng agency over the last few months as I park up (my bike) when I'm over there for meetings. God knows how many the summer will bring.
Currently:
1 x red conversion (mudguards suggest a lack of hipsterness - I like). But flat pedals, even with front brake, worry me.
1 x blue charge plug with dangerously slack chain (tighten that up dude!)
1 x black wrongster with white deep victims & straight bars, Ourey grips and stem like Yorgos. Looks nice but very hipster...
(Of course my bike and tastes are immaculate!). If any of you are on here, speak up...
