I have a pink Deep V laced onto an Ambrosio hub. Not sure how fucked it is, the rim has a ding on the join. Probably salvageable. Ended up getting a whole new wheel last month, so it has just sat in my living room since!

Yeah i was in there two days ago giving them the eye..... was just trying to keep the budget as low as possible whilst maybe relieving someone of an unwanted rim in exchange for wonga! Didn't you have a spare rim, or was it black???

No idea how the ding appeared. Just noticed riding from West to play football in Vicky park that I got a puncture. Stopped, fixed the puncture and thirty seconds later same again happened. I was in a rush, so ended up buying a new wheel from BLB! When I got back to check it, at the point where the two "ends of the rim meet one side is dinged in about a mil. I imagine it was this that was causing the tyres to misbehave. Anyway, your welcome to pass your eye over it. I was going to give it a go myself, but have been too busy (too lazy) to actually sit down and nudge it back.

I live west, and work central if you want to check it.

Just to say they don't need to be made up, i can lace them myself if needed :)

true... true, prolly just as cheap these days to buy UK side, £38 just round the corner at cavendish, if bringing them in from overseas the postage will hike it up, i'm happy to buy from cavendish but just thought i'd see what drags up here, been a good response so far :)

There's a saving to be made, but prob not worth the grief.

I imported mine cos there was nowhere to score them else at the time.

Hey bobob. I got a purple front deep v. I used to have it on my ride with a pink rear but replaced with TheSpok. It came non machined but i had a break on for about 2 weeks so very little wear. Doesnt need truing and is on some basic formula hubs. All in all, amazing condition and colour! Wont be lookin for much. IM me!

totally agree re built up sets, i bought a set from them last year, complete set built up £135 delivered, was chuffed as was a limited edition colour too :)
