• doesn't matter, the deadline for you apology has passed anyway. You're in deep, Chris.... way over your head

  • we will see... number of lawyers that are friends 4, family 2. please sue me.

  • Can someone show me the original thread? The one that caused all the trouble.

  • well, to paraphrase, it said that Ian MacPherson's bikes are shite, and that he's a smelly old nob.

  • skoota
hael

bored at work so I thought I would take the best from both :D might make this into a spoke card during my boredom, sorry to plageurise your work skoota no doubt I will be condemed to Art & Design hell ...oww what will my family think ..the shame.

i shall forgive you if you make me one spokecard
:D on its way!

  • so rife rike amazing

  • i wan 50!!

  • There's nothing like a piss-poor understanding of libel law to persuade men to wave their dicks around like they mean something. And there's nothing that winds up an ex-lawyer and journalist more than some prick waving his legalistic dick around.

Hey Hack. You build hack bikes. They're really not special. In fact they're crap. Colour coordination is about the only thing that differentiates them from any other conversion out there on the streets. Fuck knows what your mark-up is, but questioning it is hardly criminal. Claiming your conversions are worth as much as brand new off-the-shelf bikes is pretty outlandish. So why the surprise?

Anyway. Please sue me. I'll whisper you my home address so that you can be sure to serve me my papers. I'll counter-sue by buying one of your hacks and claiming fraudulent misrepresentation. I hope you look forward to paying my expensive legal fees.

    Hugs and kisses.

  • best post on this fourm to date

  • i know the guy made some big old threats and all, but he's also apologised fairly unambiguously.

perhaps you should bear that in mind before sticking the boot in further, lest you lost the moral high ground/ come across as undignified.

  • Mike you better make me one too.

  • pj i know the guy made some big old threats and all, but he's also apologised fairly unambiguously.

Exactly the man showed humility. It feels like this is getting whipped up into a play ground like frenzy.

  • "Playground-like" "Playground-like"

  • Platini "Playground-like" "Playground-like"

Whoopty fucking do. You spotted a mistake in my hurried typing. Personally I would not use a hyphen. In this case the use of one is personal.

  • Well that one obviously went straight over your head.
    Na na na naa na!

    Did he? Ah.

Kids - don't post drunk. It's not big or clever.

Anyway. Still found his legal threats incredibly irritating.

  • he said sorry, like a hundred times, and everyone has now had a good laugh at his expense, so let it go.

  • Platini Well that one obviously went straight over your head.
    Na na na naa na!

Doh! Sorry it was too early for me. I am a fool!

  • ;-)

  • apparently londonfgss is more offensive then bike snob, as no one has ever threatened to sue him.

  • So you can stop being sorry!
