Endsleigh is pretty much the only company that'll give you insurance for a shared house.
I'm not sure what they're like with bikes though. They do have an option for taking things out of the house, but I'm not sure on the details of it.
Worth a phone call though.
I wouldn't mind knowing what the best place is to get just your bike insured. For when I eventually build a bike worth stealing ;-)
