If you cut and file that slotting lump at the back, they'll work fine on forward facing drop-outs I reckon…

I were thinking that, but it would depend how long yer dropouts were.
Even with the bolts fully tightened I can't get correct tension in my CONdor's dropouts.

i can dig around for some 8mm hex bolts ?!

It's the length of the bolts, dogs.
They don't reach the dropout when the axle when the axle is in the middle of the dropout, ie the dropout is too short.

i've got a pair of them on campag semi-horizontal drops. file the lump off and work fine.

i think i may have some longer bolts ;)
Unused.
Eight sheets, ideally collect Archway but can prob meet somewhere central.
