Wouldn't it just be better if he built his bikes upto a better/higher standard, rather than just making them road worthy. Nothing wrong with being in business for the money, but this site is in it for the love, whatever style of fixed gear gets your heart pounding, and most of us know how much components cost and also how much we would pay for them. I get the sense that whoever buys bikes from him, will only end up shelling out more to get the bike into a more rugged and robust shape. He's selling bikes to those who don't know much and wants an apology from here because eventually those who are into fixed gear come across this site and if we are held as the fortress of truth, bike prejudice and fixed gear knowledge, then it doesn't do any trader any good to get on our bad side.
Personally I'd tell him to take a running jump, comment is free, and as I said at the top if he doesn't want to get "slagged off" he might want to think about building better bikes. If people are going to bitch and whine about BLB, then Hacked deserves no lesser treatment for doing the same thing just via the interweb...
