My Campy Record cranks have a crack, any advice please?

trampsparadise Yea, common with all cranks that have that same sharp edge in that spot. Only way to help it would be to lightly file it away and a good, smooth polish. That would only help if it's not that deep.

That's what I heard too.
I've just gone at it with a round file... and it's fine now.
Although the crack was quite long, it was only about 1.5mm from the surface so filed out no worries. I was amazed how soft that metal was! The whole process took about 2mins!
