  • You're welcome.

  • i lost my phone in the pit(shirtless might i add) at a Gogol Bordello gig...no one gave it back to me.i didn't give a fuck though as i had such an amazing night :)

  • ads Hand it in.

My Mrs found a phone, called the owner who turned out to be from Uzbekistan. He was so happy that the next time he went back home he brought her a present from Uzbekistan, some biscuits or something.

Circle of life and all that.

    great success!

  • I would give it back, a phone these days stores so much more than just numbers, I even use mine to record vocal ideas while on the move among other things, insurance cant replace that

  • I found a phone in the middle of nowhere by the side of a road in Italy. Didn't speak Italian but phoned 'Amore'. She told her boyfriend who came and took me for a beer. He had come off his bike on that road and the phone was in his pocket.

Not to put too much stress on karma or any conspiracy of the universe, but soon after the above I had my wallet nicked. And somebody sent it home to the address on my driving license (minus cash!).

  • Also some people have their numbers on the phone not the sim card (I do), so it can be a real bummer

  • or look under 'm' for "Me" or "My phone" or "might just buy you a pint if you get this back to me"..

  • or you could phone almost anyone in the phone, um like anyone... and ask would you mind telling what name flashed up? "brian, cause thats who it is...' no actually i found brians phone, if you know any other way to contact him, please let him know my number is ......... or just left the phone on, (rather than take his sim card out) and waited for him/her to call their own phone, i don't know a single person who has lost their phone who didnt try to call it. Personally if your banking on karma, i think you fukd yourself on this one...and then topped it off by going on the internet to question people about morals. ...then again i dropped an apple in front of someone at the cashpoint this morning, who watched it roll past themselves rather than pick it up for me. The old lady with the walking stick stopped it from rolling into the road. Of course i thanked the guy loudly and sarcastically. Am i too hard on people or did my mum just teach me manners?

  • skoota.. did you punch atm guy in the back of the head, smash his face into the keypad and take his money? Oh.. well, maybe next time?

  • nah i'm gonna wait til the karmic wheel gets him, you know apple tree land on his car or something. unless of course he left his phone in the back of a cab and its already got him.

  • My phone dropped out of my pocket on a bus somewhere west london way. I forgot about it all day, then rang it from my grils phone. No answer.. Bugger...
2 hours later I get a phone call.. Bus driver heard it ringing on his route, it was lodged in between a seat at the back, and was now back at the depot... In Bow.
I happen to live in Bow, and was walking past the depot as I live about 2 mins down the road. Picked up in 30s flat. Lucky bastard.

hm... shouldn´t asking get me even some minor points? Isn´t it at least slightly better than not even giving it second thoughts and keeping it and instead: being bored at work - starting a thread cause i was curious about what people thought - changing my mind - returning the phone? Or am I forever gonna burn in the eternal flames of hell?

didn´t even think this would cause such hallabaloo

  • MrSmith hand it in, it's bad Karma if you don't.
i lost my phone on a mtb trail in the alps, french walker found it and answered my call and after getting a waitress to speak to him (in french) i picked it up from his hotel. left him ten euro for a beer, i would have been fooked without my phone as i needed to stay in touch for work.

Word Karma dose work in funny ways.

About 3 or 4 years ago I handed in a wallet to a Police station. I had a look inside and it had 300 quid in cash and when the police woman went through it she als found a bank card WITH THE PIN NUMBER WRITTEN DOWN!!! The man was clearly a retard. However two weeks ago I lost my wallet, only a tenner and some change in there but I had it returned to me by the police the following week. The Hasssel avoided by haing it returned to me was well worth it. I like to think of that as my wallet Karma.

This ain't hallabaloo (certainly compared to other threads here). This is just a bunch of people giving their 2 cents, most of whom are in agreement.

you want points for trying to figure out the difference between right and wrong? then doing the wrong thing, then changing your mind when you displayed your thoughts in a public domain and getting told it was wrong?

I'm not sure you'll burn in hell, but what's all this 'slightly better than..' "oh come on judge i could have killed them if i wanted to, i only paralysed them, surely thats worth something."

p.s. tommy exact same thing happened to me when a womans purse when i was a kid, (had £200 and her pin number in the purse) she sent me a card with £20 in to thank me...tight cow ;)
