If you speak nicely to them/they warm to you, the folk at Brick Lane Bikes will sometimes help people out with that. Sometimes.

Cool, they're ususally pretty patient with my vague requests and technical stupidity in there, I guess I got the right balance that means I'm neither 'Think I do but I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about' nor 'conpletely being an asshole trying to borrow tools when they're actually closed' nor 'Asking really annoying questions at 12.30 on a sunday when its completely mad in there'. And I spend bits of cash there.
Sometimes
Thanks vic. I was gonna ask them but I thought someone may know of other options.

Barrie Witcomb used to be the man for that.
Whether he still does simple things like that at sensible money is anyone's guess.
If you give him a call and DaFoney answers the dog, tell him to fuck off.

Cheers! Good advice...
A friend of mine's splashed out on the OBEY fuji special ed. Wierdly it's drilled for back brake, but not front (supplied with doublefixed hub...) Where does he go to get the front drilled..? probably needs a bit of precision for allen-key brake.
