    Reminds me of the Church of West Boro or whatever it's called in America - you know, the "fag enablers" and all that nonsense. On programme on BBC2 last year, Louis Theroux was speaking to a senior figure in this organization who basically said that the only reason why he doesn't kill people is because he will go to hell if he does.

    Pretty shocking. In my philosophy tutorials at my uni (as an ancillary course) I've come across a couple of people who think along similar lines, e.g. I don't do certain things because I'll get caught/go to hell rather than another system ethics.
