This Eddy Merckx auction is getting out of hand. The bike was made by Falcon in the 1970s who licensed the Merckx name. They were kids bikes, I know 'cos I had one, so to pay £145 is insane. What amuses me is that the guy selling it realises he's making more than it's worth so has started to dampen down expectations in his comments.
