100gn, go get it
the hubs alone worth more than that
Chap I know (in the virtual world) has offered to sell me this, does it sound like it will build into a decent fixed?
Don't want to touch the frame other than to repaint it, but might sell off the other bits and use what I can?
This is the description...
Frame is lugged, dating roughly to the late 60's, currently sporting a fairly nasty 80's respray and decals from a French bike shop that no longer exists - DND Saumur. I have my suspicions that the frame is an old italian one, but it has no markings, serial number or anything that I can find to indicate this. Mavic rims (tubulars) and Campy C-Record hubs, Campy C-Record brakes, Weinmann levers (late 70's - early 80's at a guess, one is missing a shroud, but they're of the perforated type) Sachs-Heuret front & rear chain-set, with shifters on the bottom bar "suicide" style, that pretty much sums it up.
