Stolen Bike

Hello there,this might be a long shot, but anyway worth a try. My bike was nicked on saturday / sunday morning from my house on the Kingsland road in Hackney. It is a Charge Plug with white velocity's on and trimmed handlebars with white grips. Needless to say it was my pride and joy! Anyway if anybody happens to see it, tries to flog to you or shows it off, be sure to give them a bollocking.

my friend karly had her condor pista nicked from kingsland rd recently.

seems to be bike theft central round there right now.

Shit, i saw that bike yesterday on Drury Lane locked to a post outside The Sun Pub at the end of Betterton St!!!!
My studio is just around the corner, so if I spot it again today, i'll let you know. If you had only posted this yesterday!

being so much in love with our own bikes its common to take photos of it...but it seems alot of bikes that get nicked have not been photographed.
if anyone doesn't have a recent photo of there bike go and take one now!! it would make it so much easier to find it.
maybe a blog should be set up for stolen bikes in London.the more talk the better.

That sucks man. I live in Stoke Newington and work in London Fields and White City so will keep my eyes open for you on those routes. Seen plenty of plugs round that way recently but none with white velocities that I remember.

Do you ride that Plug I keep seeing parked up outside the Rose and Crown? Anyway, I ride an iro with chopped risers, so holler if you spot me round N16...

Just saw one with white grips or tape on Poland Street 5 minutes ago, but no Deep Vs. Think it wasn't yours, bars seemed normal. I nearly ran after him though!

hutch, i've spotted you a few times as you go past my house - i live on church st. next time i'll shout!

i was thinking it wouldn't be a bad idea mapping stolen bikes...i think google map would be perfect,maybe this way we could learn where the bikes are going missing from and maybe highlight a particular location.

i really want to set up a blog for stolen bikes in london...something alot more visual then whats currently available.

aidan those are both really god ideas, and i would be willing to help blogwise as long as i dont have to do any heavy programing

it shouldnt be to hard, get a wordpress or a blog spot a nice back drop and then just cut and paste from the fourm and emails.... actuly i migh go a head and get a wordpress domain for this
