  • So, I just bought a dinky new Neil Orrell track bike which is undrilled (photos coming soon). Since I'm not about to ride brakeless on the streets for various reasons including my own incompetence, I am in two (three?) minds about whether to a) drill the fork, b) get a new drilled fork or c) keep the fork undrilled and get one of those clamp-on brakes instead.

First two options are pretty easy for me to do, but I do like to fnck about with things and make them awakward and weird...... For option c), Max or Andy FGL (sorry, swigging straight Russian potato-water on a Sunday afternoon has blurred my memory) was telling me about these brakes that a bunch of Japanese folks that are too pussy for brakeless but are reluctant to drill (er, like me I suppose!) have clamped on their forks.

Anyone know anything about them or where to get them? Google has friend my brain and I don't know where to start!
