I replaced the loose bearing BB on my Peugeot ('80s 126mm rear spacing) with a sealed job -110mm.
This works pretty much spot on with the (oldish) Stronglight cranks I am using.
Buy a cheap BB and try it out. Then if it's not right, you haven't wasted too many spondoolies. -

Buy an adjustable BB.

Cheers got a crank coming which needs 107mm axle so sorted ta!
much appreciated,
Shin
i'll keep it short and sweet.
new whip... Dawes with 126 rear dropouts and the bottom bracket shell measures at 68mm wide, i will be riding this bike fixed gear with 120mm wide rear hubs with spacers (or pinched in a bit). I assume this gives me a almost 3mm play to where i seat the wheel? Therefore which length bottom bracket axle should i get?
word up...
