check your crank puller, some of the cheaper ones have shorter thread heights so they take the tops of threads off. try a pedros one, they tend to get the best grip. try tightening the crank puller all the way in and removing the cranks real slow, see if you can feel the puller move or the crank move. if the puller moves, go to a shop, they'll have a tool that looks similar to a tuning fork but i wedged so it can allpy force between the spider and the bb cup. good luck!
