I'm trying to swap all the nice stuff from my alu bike to my bianchi pista, but my sugino rd (messenger zen) cranks are giving me major grief. the non drive side came off without any problems, but the drive side is completely jammed. Not only that, but the crank puller i'm using has stripped some of the threads on the drive side making it really bloody difficult to get the crank puller back in for another go.
Thing is one of the reasons i'm taking them off is because the BB cups have come loose - I can't see how, but could the loose BB cup on the drive side be what's giving me grief?
So i guess does anyone have any hints as to how to get the crank off, considering one person pushing down on the crank arm and me pushing down on the puller arm wasn't enough to budge it?
By the way, These cranks have been on for less than a month.
