sitting around watching daytime TV, pretending they're not overweight, stuffing themselves with Terry's All Gold and fantasizing about being taken roughly from behind by the builder, whilst their "poor" husbands slave away in the 9 to 5 for the fat bonus, desperately trying to arrange dirty weekends with the secretary, who will eventually succumb, despite the fact she's half his age (as money is really more important than looks or personality) and meanwhile the wife is still at home, running up the phone and credit card bills simultaneously by squawking to her equally vacuous friends for hours about which handbags with "Diamante" trim to buy from the shopping channel, whilst secretly dreaming of cunnilingus from the 20 year old gardener...
