Worn chain = Missing tooth on sprocket?

edmundane how long did that chain last you?
my 1/8 shitty number from 4 months ago is all shit and rusty from the weather now. and yes i do clean it and lube it.
few months i think, hard to remember with number of bikes i've gone through.
