Been stopped once - did run eventually. Got pulled over by Islington Design Centre for 'pre-empting' the lights (didn't stop at first cos I thought the bike pig was giving me a friendly wave of solidarity (what was I thinking?)).
Was lectured for toooooo long, having explained (truthfully) that it was my first day in a new job, and I was probably a bit excited about the TdF just starting.
Anyway, got cautioned and carried on towards Highgate. When I got to the Holloway Odeon, I realized he was tailing me. I was in a hurry, and despite being loaded up with 2 panniers of textbooks, I knew I could dish out the pain on Highgate Hill (from the Archway 1-way system). Turned round to check what was happening at the first set of lights, and he was weaving all over the road in a stupid granny gear.
To quote Alan Partridge in his interview about his autobiography: "Needless to say, I HAD THE LAST LAUGH" ;)
