someone said a proper bike should have a bloke's name on it.
i'd really love to have a roberts. a cinelli steel frame still tops my list though.
either way, i'm not english :P

Definitely English all the way.
Or Italian.
Or Japanese.
But definitely not American. Hang on, I have an American frame. Doh!!
-
• #5
english belgian french italian, all good but those japanese frames do nothing for me especially as couriers seem to break them

S.E.London for me; Bird's, Youngs, Witcomb and F W Evans.

English frames kill it for custom. Period. One day I will have an EG Bates with a diadrant fork and my Witcomb will be not broken constantly.

Whichever fits and hits the right price point. "Britain" btw. Sheesh.. need a convict to tell ya :)

agreed Hippy .. if it fits right and is the right price firstly, but money no object then Italian first - Pegoretti yum

furious tiles S.E.London for me: Youngs.
youngs was SW, now fucking bedford.
bloody shame if you ask me
-
• #11
but yeah, English frames.
My wilson rides so nicely, I'd also buy a Mercian, Roberts and BJ, but will never be able to afford a witcomb

Since when has Lee High Road Lewisham (as the head badge on my bike once said) been SW you irritable, irksome little man?*

furious tiles I know Gary told me.
i'll say anything to stop you following me

My frame doesn't come with a passport... I feel left out.
-

funny thing is it's spelt Britan not Britain :P
Anyone hold any special feeling towards brit frames etc above the foreign exoctics? would you rather a mercian than a coppi, a falcon than a zeus, a falcon rather a spartan?
