New Bars, New Stem, New levers.. so why does my bike feel faster?

MrSmith the cane creek levers are the same as the tektro levers which are the same as the condor levers, the weigh the same only the cane creek are the more expensive.
(the rubbers look different though and tektro don't do brown)

yeah,the rubber is quite sticky and grippy, they say it's better. not sure if i prefer it though
