zaffiros pros are shite for skidding. went through mine in 5 days. always have a gator skin now.

eh? they're good for skidding, a hard compound (cheap) tyre. get them from condor if you cant find anywhere else - £14

I find they have little grip and last four seconds (but do feel good to ride, quick), no probs on the front though.

I'm yet to try out the continental top contacts, supposed to last forever. The armadillos last fucking ages but feel proper shite and slow. With those zaffiro pros, you can get a pretty high pressure from them, 145psi. I'd have stuck with them on my rear if they could handle the abuse.
