I found that the only problem with goldtec hubs is that the alloy caps for the allen bolts are too weak to handle the kinda torque you usually put on track nuts. I replaced them with a couple of locknuts from a loose ball hub and its a big improvement. These locnuts are serrated and steel so they will sort you out. Add a tugnut on the drive side (don't worry about other side) for full on slip free action
Btw I asked BETD why they don't use steel caps and its because they can't colour match them to the hubs.
